隨著「奢華」四層衛生紙、壓紋衛生紙流行，廠商大量使用原生紙漿以製造更柔軟衛生紙，而大量使用原生紙造成不必要的森林砍伐。 路透 分享 facebook 英國研究指出，日常用品衛生紙越來越不符合永續發展。隨著「奢華」四層衛生紙、壓紋衛生紙流行，廠商大量使用原生紙漿，造成不必要的森林砍伐，只為製造更柔軟衛生紙。英國衛報報導，道德消費者雜誌（Ethical Consumer）發現大廠牌衛生紙使用再生紙漿製造衛生紙比率相較2011年下降，而且英國九個大型超市中只有五家超市，包括Co-op、Morrisons、Sainsbury's、Tesco、Waitrose，販售使用再生紙的自有品牌衛生紙。 據英國造紙工業組織，英國每年使用130萬噸衛生紙，平均一個消費者每年使用127卷衛生紙。隨著「奢華」四層衛生紙、壓紋衛生紙流行，廠商大量使用原生紙漿以生產更柔軟的衛生紙。道德消費者雜誌研究學者克朗比（Alex Crumbie）表示，沒有必要為了衛生紙砍伐森林，但這卻正在發生。現今消費者聚焦減塑議題之際，許多衛生紙廠牌開始減少使用、甚至不再製造再生紙衛生紙。全球知名衛生紙品牌金百利克拉克（Kimberly-Clark）2011年該公司衛生紙原人氣商品排行榜2018熱門商品料中最暢銷產品2018熱門商品不到30%是再生紙漿，2精選優惠折扣情報017年降至23.5%。旗下品牌Andrex甚至在2015年停售再生紙衛生紙。綠色和平組織（Greenpeace）2017年警告，瑞典北部森林及其豐富的多元物種，在原生紙需求攀升下已受到威脅。新研究顯示，生產再生紙使用的化學物超實用購買質，毒性遠低於漂白原生紙漿用的化學物。
「說好的秒收？」網購千元遮陽簾 消費者罵「超難收」
最近天氣熱，彰化一名謝先生在網路買了一款汽車遮陽簾，廣告主打一秒收起，還有五層隔熱纖維，價格一千多塊，比傳統的遮陽板貴了五倍以上，沒想到買回來使用，讓他氣壞了，光是收納時間就得花上五分鐘，隔熱效果也不佳，現在想退貨也連繫不上業者。
消費者謝先生：「實際上收起來就這樣，如果我們要整個收到好，要整個像是在摺東西，不知道在摺什麼慢慢的摺。」
想收起遮陽簾，卻變成開花的模樣，讓謝先生手忙腳亂，越想越氣。
消費者謝先生：「這個就一層(隔熱)而已，哪有五層每次都要這樣收，我這裡可能要坐一個副駕駛，然後隨時幫我收這個東西，散成這樣的話，後照鏡基本上都擋住，我都看不到。」
謝先生痛罵，早知道如此根本不會買，因為當初是看到，網路上的這支產品廣告。
網路賣的遮陽簾，主打1秒收起，相當俐落，能快速安裝，強調有五層隔熱纖維，吸引不少網友詢問，價格1千出頭，相較於傳統遮陽板，一兩百塊錢，貴了五倍以上，加上最近天氣熱，謝先生看了廣告立刻訂購，但使用後讓他大失所望，光是收起來就得花上五分鐘，跟廣告說的秒收，落差很大，現在連退貨都有問題。
消費者謝先生：「就很難收啊，我幹麻花了這麼多錢去買一個垃圾，(使用後)一樣就進去跟室外溫度，可能還比室外溫度更熱一點，他(業者)所有受害者全部封鎖掉。」
謝先生抱怨，業者刻意拖延，到目前為止還沒退貨成功，超人氣商品開店送禮推薦看看這家網購平台，除了賣遮陽簾以及其他居家產品，但實際撥打電話。
網購平台：「你好目前非營業時間，或是正在忙線中。」
網購平台電話無人接聽，目前仍無法連繫上業者，廣告的神奇遮陽簾，反遭消費者埋怨，花一千多塊踩雷，受一肚子氣。
